The room we had was brand-new and huge with an incredible view, big nice bathroom plus the terrasse above. The location for Amed was stunning and fantastic, close enough to the seafront at Amed. It also was in the ocean right out the back door.
Nothing at all.

Excelent location. On the beach! You come out of your room and Boom! First row. Balcony with a nice bed for you to relax. Nice staff. Clean room with ac. Nice shower. Great Hotel for the price. A real bargain.
Still not used to these outdoor toilets. We also bought a trip to the Gili (300,000 each way per person) to the guy who rented us the room and later found there were cheaper ones (250,000). He indicated a very good and cheap restaurant from his family though.

This was an incredible place to stay. It was right on the beach front with sunloungers, Booked.nets, and your own private patio with day bed to lounge on. The room was gorgeous with a four poster bed and beautifal outdoor Balinese bathroom..heaven! There was also a huge thermos of hot water and tea and coffee to make your own drinks whenever. You could choose whatever you liked for breakfast which was made for you whenever you liked. The best part was the view towards a volcano at sunset seen from the daybed. We had a lovely stay and this place was the best B/B we stayed in, in Bali.
This is a 20 minute walk to the main boat departure point to the Gili Islands. However, all the companies do pickups in a shuttle bus anyway. The hotel itself is near plenty of restaurants and a cool Sunset bar with live music.

The homestay was right on the waters edge, so you had your own little piece of beach only 15 metres from your door step. The staff were at your service 24/7 and the little chalet was so clean and beautiful, the bathroom just spectacular. They had really thought of everything to make your stay a perfect one, even a day bed on the balcony. Unfortunatley my husband was ill while we were there and we had to cut our stay short but the owner just couldnt do enough for us even to the point of only charging us for the nights we had stayed rather than what we had booked. We can't wait to stay again and will recommend Solaluna to all of our friends!!!!

We had a great experience at Solaluna. Our room was very new, clean and cozy with entrance right on the beach. The outside bathroom was charming. The staff was very friendly and prepared our pick of breakfast every morning. Bed was superb with good mosquito net. Private balcony. This was our cheapest place to stay in Bali and arguably the best.
Entrance road to the beach houses is still under construction, so you will get sandy feet.

It's really a lovely place just right on the beach. Beautiful scenery. With a real bed on the veranda is just a good place to relax, read a book or watch a movie on you tablet. The room is big en the bathroom is clean. You can swim and snorkel just in front your room. Gede the owner is really a nice person and very helpfull. Gede knows a good driver very responsible and accurate. Ask for him! Breakfast is included and very good. Thee and coffe all day free. Nice area around for restaurant. We stayed 7 days, next time 14 days!!! So good so relaxed place to stay in Bali. Greetings Monya

The room was modern and clean. It is very simple but you do not need more to have a good time here. The staff is very nice and helpful (they helped us to negotiate the price of the fast boat to the Gili islands). If you want to relax face to the sea, the Solaluna is the place you have to book (there is a bed with cushions on the terrace). The place is very quiet and we strongly recommend it. If we should come back to Amed we would ensure that one of the two rooms is available.
